TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – The Indonesia Business Council (IBC) Australia held an Appreciation Night and Team Zoom (ANTZ) event at Penang Bistro Central Park on Friday, October 11, 2024.
This activity is part of a series of IBC activities during TEI 2024. The aim is to appreciate members who have supported the Indonesian economy.
President of IBC Australia, Josep Rustam said that in the TEI 2024 event, IBC Australia also participated as an Exhibitor and enlivened the TEI 2024 activities.
“We are very happy to be part of TEI and this ANTZ event is also intended to appreciate the Exhibitors who participated in the event,” said President of IBC Australia Josep Rustam, Wednesday (16/10/2024).
In addition, continued Josep, IBC Australia in collaboration with ITPC Sydney also successfully held a talk show during the TEI 2024 momentum. The talk show entitled “Towards Golden Indonesia Through IA-CEPA” was opened by the Deputy Ambassador of Indonesia to Australia, Mrs. Lintang Paramitasari.
IBC also invited the Australian delegation to tour Jakarta, Bogor and Bandung to taste various traditional Indonesian culinary delights and be introduced to the history of the Indonesian Presidency. The delegation also visited the Eloi Coco perfume factory and the Jakarta Provincial Government.
According to Josep, in the TEI 2024 event, 5 IBC members became Exhibitors, namely: JIKA Chocolate; JYN Coffee; La Moringa; Yaskico and Zona Snack.
In addition, in the ANTZ activity itself, IBC Australia also gave its appreciation to the Gold Sponsors who had made the IBC Australia activity a success. The Gold Sponsors are Antzman Software; Gria Visa; Kids Coaching; Lax Teknologi Indonesia; Roemah Koffie; Reina; Sarinah Australia and Yokobana Ind.
“We also gave the 2024 IBC Award to Taufik Tenggara from Southeast Point Group and Thomas Lie from Antzman Software and the IBC Presidential Lifetime Award given to Albert Soetanto from Sarinah Australia,” explained Josep.
Finally, Josep hopes that IBC Australia, which has been a non-profit organization since its founding in 2006, can help increase Indonesian exports with its members.
